Company
Gogomo is the first Internet and Mobile social merchandising solution provider for advertisers and site owners that delivers contextually relevant product advertisements enabling consumers to buy, wish, recommend, gift or share with a single-click without leaving the host site/service.
Gogomo is the first contextual advertising platform capable of delivering single-click transactions within a banner ad or widget, enabling a user to purchase an advertiser's physical or digital goods without ever leaving the site owner's site. E.g., you're on a website, you see a banner ad for a product and, within the banner ad itself, you're able to enter your credit card info, address, etc., and complete the transaction.
On the front end, it has a fantastic user interface and an entirely new metaphor for buying, sharing, wishing and gifting merchandise. On the back-end, it's a highly distributed, scalable database as a service infrastructure. Building big scale commerce enabled advertising networks is a core competency and area in which we're investing.
Traction
The early reaction to what we're doing has been fantastic. Gogomo has secured relationships with some of the largest social networking, ad network, and vertical sites on the internet to monetize/optimize their user traffic and has secured relationships with leading advertisers and merchants. Gogomo has entered into partnerships with several leading mobile providers for monitizing their customers through transactions as a bridge to consumer adoption of commerce through mobile handsets.
It's an easy sell to site owners (higher CPMS + users don't leave site) and to advertisers (higher conversion rates).
Team
Gogomo’s team has built leading transactional, advertising and merchant systems networks on the Internet and has pioneered order enablement technology for seamless order and fulfillment across a network of affiliated distributors, content suppliers and merchants and has direct experience from leading content management and delivery platforms at companies including SBC (AT&T), Sprint, Impulse Buy! (Inktomi), InfoSpace, Zedo, Mobilitec (Alcatael/Lucent) and Microsoft.
Technology
Gogomo's patent-pending technology is designed to reduce administrative costs and effort for merchants. Implementation requires a single, up-front effort between technical teams and, once completed, requires no further effort. Gogomo’s merchandising service utilizes patent-pending technology including a semantic, object oriented framework creating dynamic associations between merchants, site owners, consumers, devices and policies to dynamically offer contextially relevant impulse buy, gifting, wishing and sharing opportunities increasing the ROI to site owners and merchants.
Flexibility and Extensibility
Gogomo offers a flexible and extensible customer acquisition and adverstising Model to Advertiser.
- Gogomo enables the monitization of several Internet and Mobile services through a flexible set of APIs, such as Site owners, Ad Networks, Mobile Search Engines, On-Device and Internet applications and services to name a few.
- Gogomo enables transaction opportinites and incentives for the consumer through a hyper hybrid model including buy, gift, wish, share, free gift with purchases, referral incentives, bundles and loyalty points and can work with Advertiser, other merchatns and site owner partners around specific campaigns.
